Discover the root causes to all pain and heal.
Living with pain that refuses to let go can feel exhausting. Maybe you’ve tried everything—medications, therapies, or simply pushing through—but the relief never lasts. It’s frustrating, isolating, and it might even make you wonder if healing is even possible. At Wellness Alignments, we understand because we’ve helped people just like you uncover the root causes of their pain.
We know how overwhelming it can be to live with persistent pain or emotional distress. At Wellness Alignments, we believe that every pain - physical, mental and emotional has deeper roots.
The five main root causes of every pain and symptom are.
1. Structural
2. Biochemical
3. Emotional
4. Neurological
5. Spiritual
Why Pain persists despite treatments
Have you ever felt frustrated because your pain continues, even with regular professional support? it may be because:
1. Unaddressed Root Causes: Sometimes, the underlying issues behind your pain are overlooked, or there may be multiple factors at play that need attention.
2. Misaligned Focus: The pain you’re experiencing may not be the primary issue. It’s essential to identify and address the true source of your discomfort to find relief.
Chronic back pain released -real life results
A client presented with chronic back pain and turned to a massuer for weekly massages, hoping to alleviate her discomfort. However the relief found was only every temporary.
In clinic, we discovered the root causes of her pain was a combination of structural and emotional factors.
The structural issue originated from her jaw, meaning that while her masseur focused on her lower back, the real source of her pain remained untreated. Additionally, emotional stress stemming from family issues contributed significantly to her discomfort.
Once she addressed the emotional root causes—her chronic back pain disappeared, and she hasn’t needed to see her masseur in nine months!
Understanding and addressing the root causes of your pain can lead to genuine healing. Read on to explore each main root cause and learn how you can finally find relief.
1. Structural Imbalances
As you navigate the demands of daily life—whether it's long hours at a desk, past injuries, or repetitive movements—your body's structural foundation can become compromised. Many of us experience discomfort in the form of tight muscles, shoulder tension, or persistent backaches. Structural imbalances involve the skeletal, fascia, and muscular systems.
Just like a car with misaligned wheels struggles to drive smoothly, your body requires proper alignment to function freely and without pain.
When you seek relief from these postural or muscular issues, you may turn to professionals like massage therapists, physiotherapists, osteopaths, or chiropractors. At Wellness Alignments, we understand your journey and are here to support you.
We blend traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) principles with gentle massage techniques to help unwind tight muscles and strengthen those that have become inactive. Our approach can improve your posture, flexibility and reduce your pain, so you can feel more at ease in your body.
2. Biochemical Imbalances:
When your body doesn’t get what it needs—whether it’s the right nutrients, excercise, or the ability to clear out toxins—you start to feel it in ways that are hard to ignore: fatigue, headaches, or even pain that won’t go away. It’s your body’s way of telling you it needs support.
For instance, if you're low on magnesium, you might find yourself dealing with muscle cramps, fatigue, or persistent headaches. While medications can sometimes offer quick fixes, they often only mask the symptoms instead of addressing the underlying issues.
Restoring biochemical balance is possible through simple yet effective changes. Examples include:
- Natural Remedies: Herbs, minerals and vitamins can help nourish your body.
- Diet and Lifestyle Changes: Adjustments in your daily routine can lead to significant improvements.
- Conventional Medicine: Sometimes, prescriptions can play an essential role in your journey to wellness.
3. Emotional Imbalances
Are you carrying the weight of unprocessed emotions like grief or stress? These feelings don’t just fade away; they settle deep within your body, manifesting as chronic tension and pain over time.
A client in her late 70's came to me after losing her husband. She was struggling with a frozen shoulder, previously seeking relief through multiple Cortisone shots. Each treatment only brought temporary comfort. Together, we uncovered the deeper issue: her unresolved grief.
Once, she was able to release that deep-seated sorrow, she was able to regain her full shoulder movement. This experience is a testament to the power of emotional release.
Emotional release is a transformative tool that is often considered only after other options have been exhausted. I believe that in may situations, addressing the emotional imbalances can potentially prevent the need for invasive medical procedures.
Techniques such as talk therapy, Kinesiology, and emotional release bodywork can help you lighten the burden on both your body and mind. In my clinic, I provide all three approaches in a safe, nurturing environment to support your journey toward healing and well-being.
4. Neurological Imbalances
We are fundamentally electrical beings. Our nerve cells, muscles, and even our hearts operate through electrical impulses, forming a complex network.
When these circuits are blocked, it’s like experiencing a power outage—your body struggles to communicate effectively, which can lead to pain and unexplained symptoms.
Consider a hose, when the hose is straight and unblocked, water flows freely. But if there’s a kink, the water trickles through or pools, creating pressure in that area. It’s in these kinks where we often experience pain.
As an Advanced Kinesiologist, my role is to identify and release these blockages, restoring the flow of your body's electrical system.
Electrical imbalances can feel like unexplained fatigue, recurring pain, or a general sense of being "off." Therapies rooted in Traditional Chinese Medicine, like acupuncture or Advanced Kinesiology, can restore the flow of energy, reconnecting your body’s circuits and bringing balance back.
5. Spiritual Imbalances
Sometimes, pain isn’t purely physical. It can stem from ancestral trauma, past-life lessons, or imbalances in your energy field - the chakras, lightbodies or auric field.
If you feel stuck or weighed down by something intangible, spiritual healing might be the missing piece.
This is why practices that offer Energy healing like Reiki, Kinesiology, Crainosacral therapy, Sound Healing, Colour Therapy and other aligned modalies can get results. If the root cause of the pain is over 80% Spiritual then energy healing can provide profound results. I offer all five energetic modalies mentioned above in clinic.
Heal by addressing all root causes.
Most people focus on one or two of these areas, hoping for full recovery. However, true healing requires addressing all the root causes of your pain.
Consider my clients frozen shoulder example:
80% of the pain was emotional, 15% was structural
The cortisone shots addressed the biochemical aspect. However, as It was not the root cause of the clients pain, the injections did not provide long lasting relief. It was only once the emotional and structural issues were resolved, the shoulder was able to heal.
Your body’s healing journey requires a holistic approach. Addressing the right root causes in the correct sequence can transform your health. Surround yourself with a professional team that can support you in each of these 5 main root causes.
