I’ve never done Kinesiology. What does a session actually feel like?
It feels like a deep, much-needed reset. Unlike talk therapy, where you might leave feeling "stirred up," a Kinesiology session is designed to settle your system. While we may discuss what’s happening in your life, the "work" happens through gentle muscle monitoring and somatic release. Most women leave feeling lighter, clearer, and "calm in their own skin."
I’m already so overwhelmed. Is this going to be "one more thing" I have to do?
I hear you. This is the only place in your life where you don't have to "perform," "explain," or "do." You don't even need to know exactly what’s wrong. Your body holds the map; my job is simply to help you read it. Think of this as the hour where you finally get to put the heavy load down.
How is this different from a massage or a regular therapy session?
Massage relaxes the muscles; therapy addresses the mind. Kinesiology bridges the gap. We work with the nervous system to clear the reason your muscles are tight or your mind is racing. By addressing the energetic and emotional "files" stored in your body, we create shifts that last much longer than a temporary massage.
I’m a very logical person. Does this work if I’m skeptical?
Absolutely. You don’t need to "believe" in Kinesiology for your nervous system to respond to it. This work is based on the feedback loops between your brain and your muscles. Many of my clients are high-achieving, logical women who were skeptical until they felt the physical shift in their own bodies.
I want to move forward with specific goals, not just "fix" a problem. Is this for me?
Yes—in fact, that is where the most exciting work happens. Once we clear the "survival mode" static, we use Kinesiology to align your subconscious with your conscious goals. We look for where your body is saying "no" to the things your mind is saying "yes" to, removing the internal brakes so you can move forward with genuine momentum.
Is it normal to feel worse before I feel better?
Sometimes, yes. As your body begins to release years of "stored" stress and emotional weight, you may experience what we call an Integration Period.
This isn't your body breaking down—it’s your body finally processing what it’s been forced to ignore for a long time.
You might feel deeply tired for a day or two as your nervous system shifts out of "High Alert."
You might experience a brief "emotional flush" as old feelings move through your system.
You might feel a temporary shift in your physical tension as your body learns to hold itself differently.
Think of it like this: If you’ve been carrying a heavy backpack for ten miles, your shoulders might ache a little after you finally put it down and the blood starts flowing again.
Is Kinesiology suitable for everyone?
Yes. Kinesiology is gentle, non-invasive, and effective for a wide range of concerns, including:
Physical Relief: Chronic pain, joint limitations, and TMJ/jaw tension.
Emotional Freedom: Releasing stress, trauma, anxiety, and the "heavy" feeling of depression.
Vitality: Lifting the fog of chronic fatigue, FM, migraines, and burnout
"At a deeper level, it can be used to identify and clear energetics stresses in the body, which are often the causes of physical manifestations of illness." Phillip Rafferty, Kinergetics RESET.
What About Craniosacral Therapy and Myofascial Release?
These gentle, hands-on therapies work with your nervous system, fascia and craniosacral system. This work supports your body to soften and reorganise, helping to:
▪️Support nervous system regulation
▪️Promote relaxation and overall well-being
▪️Release tight fascia that restricts movement
▪️Ease chronic tension, pain and discomfort
▪️Improve posture, flexibility, and energy flow
Combined with Kinesiology, these modalities provide a deeply integrative approach to restore balance at physical, emotional, and energetic levels.
How many sessions will I need?
Because we are working with the unique story your body has carried for years, there is no "one-size-fits-all" number. However, most women find their path follows one of these three stages:
Stage 1: The Initial Shift (1 - 3 Sessions) Most women feel a significant "lightening" of their load. You’ll likely leave feeling physically lighter and more 'at home' in your body.
Stage 2: The Core Work (3–8 Sessions) If you are navigating long-term burnout, chronic tension, or deep-seated survival patterns, a series of 3 to 6 sessions allows us to move past the surface symptoms. This is where we clear the "stored files" and create a brand-new baseline of calm for your nervous system.
Stage 3: The Momentum (Monthly) Once the "crisis" of depletion is over, many clients transition to monthly Alignment sessions. This is proactive work—staying ahead of the stress and ensuring your energy is fully behind your life goals rather than just surviving the week.
We move at the pace your body dictates. We never "force" a shift that your system isn't ready to integrate. You are always in the driver's seat of your healing.
